coachacola Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 LU plays at Kentucky on Nov 24th? Shouldn't Kentucky be coming to Beaumont? Quote
Dracula Posted September 3, 2019 Posted September 3, 2019 (edited) Where's Duke? Seriously, I'm glad they are scheduling the superteams. Let the kids play with the big boys but make sure that Kentucky's check doesn't bounce. Edited September 3, 2019 by Dracula Quote
coachacola Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I like the fact there’s only 2 non-D1 teams on the schedule. The less the better. Quote
Dracula Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 I like the fact there’s only 2 non-D1 teams on the schedule. The less the better. I like the schedule. I wonder how many money games, besides Kentucky, if Kentucky is a money game, are scheduled? I wonder if Marco Born said no more easy schedules or did Coach Price go hard, on his own? Quote
Skinny1 Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 My sources said Born told the coaches to cut down on the cupcakes, thought it was hurting attendance. One of the reasons the women’s coach left. Quote
geezer Posted September 4, 2019 Posted September 4, 2019 If the Cards can win twenty with this schedule it will show real improvement in the program. Not sure if all twenty games against SLC teams are conference games as I think they have only played eighteen conference games a year for the past several seasons. Regardless the Cards will probably need to win at least thirteen of those twenty to get to twenty wins as it will take some time for this squad to come together. Quote

Real improvement is like pornography, you know it when you see it or so I have been told. I'd settle for less wins but more porn or so I have been told. How about Marco? Tightening up the schedules, Changing up tailgating, the football walk, the Freshman run before the game, stadium beer sales(?), and lord knows what else or what is coming. Get 'em Marco. WHAT THE HELL HAPPENED TO THE FRAT CANNON? I love the return of the bell but I miss the boom. Quote
Skinny1 Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 I like the fact there’s only 2 non-D1 teams on the schedule. The less the better. Isn’t Southern University - New Orleans a non-D1 school? Quote
geezer Posted September 5, 2019 Posted September 5, 2019 Took a little hunting and your correct Southern University at New Orleans is a NAIA school so the men have three non-D1 games. Looks like one NAIA, one D-2 and one not sure what you classify them as in Champion Christian. (National Christian College Athletic Association) Quote
