**Mississippi Valley vs Lamar Game Thread**

Featured Replies

LU missed too many early opportunities and allowed MVS to score first. Good drive to tie the game back up following the MVS score.
Seven all at halftime. Did LU get over confident based on last weeks game. Offense particularly better come on in the second half.

Offensive line ain't doing squat.

Boring as shite offense. Not sure we have

a play designed to get over 7 yards.

Agreed, the offense must play better!

Lamar must have a bunch of stupid players on this team. Bone head plays are killing the cards.
-2 in turnover margin. Must be practicing for A&M.
Nice drive to tie the game. We'll see what overtime brings.
Penalty and a poor decision on either play call or Hoy forces LU to settle for field goal. Can the defense save the day?

Defense came up big! I'll take the win.

Agreed, it was ugly but come the end of the year it's a win. With SELA's game canceled and both teams playing SEC teams next week. The SELA game will still set the tone for the rest of the year.
It's not by how many but by how many wins. LU is 2-0. That was a win -win for LU. It was a kardasian butt ugly game, to be sure, but LU showed me something. They didn't fold and they gave themselves multiple opportunities to do so. They hung in and overcame. The culture has changed.
