Woodard said in the post game presser it looks like Kade might have a broken foot...going for x-rays tonight

yeah, hate hate hate that. Looked like Harrington was showing the trainers the top of his foot

Well if you left this one early then you missed a good one. Really doesn't matter how or when you score the points, the scoreboard still shows who the winner is!

Kade said he may have stretched ligaments in ankle. Best case out 2 weeks. Lets hope its not broke. Now that is the 2nd ugliest 58 minutes of ball I have seen Lamar play. Last year against NWS was the worst in my opinion. Way to many mistakes tonight on all levels. But they are pulled out the win in grand fashion. I went from being pissed to shaking my head happy in 2 minutes. I believe good teams figure out ways to win, maybe Lamar is getting there. 0 penalties in 1st half both teams I think. yellow every where in 2nd half.

My take on the game tonight is that Lamar did not win it as much as NW St lost the game. We were very fortunate to win this one. Cards looked very unprepared to compete and got whipped on both offensive and defensive lines. How many tackles did our defensive lineman make as a group? I say less than 5. We missed tackles everywhere! We may get shut out next week if we play like this again. But we did get a W.

i dont understand our defense. how can we stop any run game playing so many small guys? at times it looks like 8 or 9 cornerback sized players. is our 4-2-5 really a 2-0-9?

Langston is an evil genius! bore the shit out of everyone..including their defense, wait till we get down, then have the wr run actual routes down the field.

Congrats to Earp for being able to pull whatever it was, from wherever he pulled it from. Congratulations to the Lamar team and coaching staff for the W. I like Krantz in the backfield and I've always thought that Carranco was a money player. He missed some, but when the pressure is on, I'll take my chances with him. How can I sit here and criticize Earp, but damn, he locks on to his receiver, from the git go, and his secondary is standing wide open, in the middle, of the field. Please, stop throwing that down and out. One pass will just be plain uuuugly while the next is right on the money. If I were a Central Arkansas couch, I would be shaking my head and worried about Lamar coming to town. Who's gonna show up next Saturday night, Tebow or Prescott. I need a Tylenol or 6.

NW State does have one of the top defenses in the SLC and LU the worst run defense so LU was lucky to win. Next week they are on the road against the best defensive team in the league. Central Arkansas shut out McNeese 35-0 last night in Lake Charles so Woodard and company need a brilliant game plan and even more luck to win next week.

I see Earp improving each week. It doesn't help that he doesn't have a go to receiver to open things up. Maybe with Harrington out Langston will have to get creative and Central Arkansas will have a tougher time preparing for the game defensively.

Well, here is my two cents. The trend to take a knee during the national anthem was demonstrated by an LU player. I did not agree with the action. One of the people seated in my area was obviously a veteran. He was very upset about the move as this was armed forces/first responder day. He is an older man and season ticket holder for several LU sports. A true LU fan. judging by his comments, I don't think he felt appreciated for his service to our country on armed forces nite. I don't know if this was the first time this has happened at an LU game, but it sure seems like we need to keep the true fans we have. The old guy wasn't trying to hurt anybody, he served his country, I assume retired, and just loves LU. He felt very disrespected. Everybody is entitled to his or her own opinions, but I felt bad for the guy.

I've been noticing more and more of that from him...even on the winning TD, the only time he took his eyes off Thompson was to move up in the pocket...then locked backed in to him.

Northwestern may have fallen into the prevent defense trap, but the last two drives Earp got better pass protection and more of his throws were not on the run. When his feet are set properly he is much more accurate.

ha. me and my brother were thinking just the opposite. we thought he threw better running to the right, when he didnt have time to think about it.

Woodard and the AD needs to fix this problem quickly. Several company ticket holders / tailgaters are talking about not renewing if this is the respect they want to show the people that risk their lives on a daily basis. Its not a political show we are paying to watch.

Woodard had high fever and pushed through it . McNeese coach Lance Guidry coached despite his brother tragically passing away on game day.Sometimes these guys have real life challenges at work and deserve a bit of a pass and a prayer.

I think that may have been 56, Mile. At the SE La game one or tw players knelt,I couldn't quite see their numbers but I think one was 56. Also at the SE La game DeWan THOMPSON gave the black power fist during the anthem. Before this game I was watching THOMPSON (#4) and he did it again. Needless to say I was NOT cheering for his first touchdown nor his game winning catch.

I've had 6 season tickets since we brought football back. I've been ate very home game except one. If this continues I am not renewing the tickets. I plan to go to the homecoming tailgate party it will not attend the game. A other than that, I'm done until it stops.

this crap could be a program killer. big money will say f- it if it continues. I may not renew my season tickets, but i waited too long for football to come back to. May just buy general admission next year and go sit anywhere i want, people aint exactly beating down the doors to get in.

A lot of the pass plays are designed for QB throwing on the run. Not sure why but a lineman told me that, LOL. I got the inside on that cause # 58 is my boy.

I heard the man, but I personally did not see it. He said it was number 56 and was going to get in touch with Woodard on Monday to ask him if this behavior is tolerated, especially on armed forces/ first responder night.

I was just thinking that if Woodard doesn't want to deal with the situation, he could do what the visiting teams do and stay in the locker room until the national anthem is over. This keeps him from having to be a hard ass and confront the issue directly and does away with those individual's stage to display their individual feelings that likely offend many Lamar fans. If Woodard thinks this behavior is acceptable, I wish he would address it.

If it were me I would tell those so inclined to demonstrate they are in an uniform with Lamar on it and are representing the school, not themselves. And if anyone is observed doing any demonstrating they are not acting in accordance with the team and kick them off the team. I remember in an interview, Bill Walton (UCLA Basketball center & 4 time all American) told His coach he had decided to grow a mustache & goatee ( against team rules at the time), Coach John Wooden told him fine if he thinks and feels strongly about it, but we will surely miss you on the team.

Seriously, from what I saw he was MUCH more accurate when he was on the move. He did make a couple of nice passes late from the pocket but most of the time he looked really uncomfortable in the pocket. My brother joked "hey, maybe the O-line should just let their man go to get Earp to scramble".

I'm pretty certain that he doesn't care. #4 did the black power garbage the last two games and he's started and played most of both games. And after last nights game Woodard quickly posted about our come from behind victory. I was going to comment "aren't you going to mention that the winning catch was by the racist kid disrespecting the flag". But, I decided to let it lie and let him enjoy a nice win.

I guess the easy way out for him is to ignore it. I hope people stop going. Some of these kids don't realize how blessed they are.
