I have noticed that the team is improving year after year under Brooks. That's a good sign but he started at a very low spot so he's only brought the team back to respectability. He still has a ways to go. -

So far it's been an easy schedule. Things will get tougher with La Tech, UTRGV and Rice coming up.

I was wondering why UT would come to Beaumont until I noticed that Amy Hooks, the LU head coach, is an UT alum.

The previous AD was a numbnuts and gave Brooks a 5 year deal so he has another year after this. Maybe they'll buy out his contract after this season.

Jakevion Buckley is another player that transferred last year. He's now at SLU and doing pretty well now but it looks like Alexis Marmolejos is a better player. I believe that Brooks upgraded those two positions and after a slow start trying to fit the pieces together this team is playing pretty well.
