  1. More information about Evan Bullock. He's 6'5 and 220 lbs. He took over as starter in the middle of 2024 and played very well. In 2025, he entered fall camp in the QB mix but dealt with competition and injuries. He started four games before suffering a season-ending upper-body injury in mid-November (during a game at Washington State), which sidelined him for the rest of the year. His 2025 passing numbers were limited (26-of-46 for 243 yards, 0 TDs, 2 INTs in action).
  2. Joshua Thompson, a senior with a verified 4.39-second 40-yard dash, recorded modest FBS stats (8 receptions, 337 yards, 2 TDs across Georgia Southern and UTEP) but offers speed and punt-return potential to boost Lamar's FCS offense.
  3. Evan Bullock, a redshirt sophomore, entered the transfer portal on December 24, 2025, after an upper-body injury ended his 2025 season; he completed 65% of passes for 2,335 yards, 14 touchdowns, and 6 interceptions in his career at the FBS level. Parker Jenkins previously starred at Houston in 2023, rushing for 143 yards and a touchdown in a standout performance against Texas, earning Big 12 Honorable Mention honors as a freshman. Uga, a true freshman in 2024 at UAlbany, rushed for 422 yards and 6 touchdowns on 100 carries across 11 games, leading the Great Danes in rushing and earning All-CAA honors as a versatile backfield addition.
  4. - Lamar University Football announced the signing of 6'6" offensive lineman Anfernee "AJ" Crease, a veteran transfer from Texas State University via the post's graphic and welcome message. - Crease, who previously played at Kentucky and junior college, brings experienced anchor strength to the Cardinals' line after entering the transfer portal post-2025 season.
  5. - Lamar University Football announces the signing of offensive lineman Treaden Henry, a 6-6, 305-pound redshirt freshman transferring from Division II Concord University in West Virginia, bolstering the Cardinals' front line.
