These will not be answered on Coach's show this year but they will be answered on the site. I was able to speak to Coach Woodard and he agreed to continue with this segment this year on the site. So get them posted ASAP and I'll get them to him!

than Harper of SFA does! (I am willing to bet he does) SFA 82 McMurray 6 82-6! Passed the ball 63 times last night (several in the 4th quarter after leading 68-6 at end of 3rd), went for 2 five times (3 of those attempts were after SFA was already leading 25-0). Even though the 2nd team and some 3rd teams played half the 3rd and all the 4th, it was obvious Harper was looking to score as many as he could against a very outmanned McMurray team.

Last year there were game notes on the Athletic Website before every game, but none are posted for the game against Texas College? What's up with that?

Jacob Hanna seldom left the field in high school. Then he went two years without playing a down. That wait ends Saturday. Hanna, a redshirt sophomore, will be the starting tight end when the Lamar University football team opens the season against Texas College. "It's been a while, but it seems like just yesterday I was playing high school football," the Lumberton graduate said. "I'm glad it's finally here." Hanna redshirted his first season at NCAA Division II West Texas A&M. Then he gave up a season of playing eligibility to transfer closer to home. I know its only Texas College but what are you guys looking forward to seeing from Lamar in the opener? Here's 5 things I want to watch: 1. The running game. I want to see LU's RB's slash Texas College at will and set the tone for the season. 2. O-Line play. Cant wait to see how dominant the left side of the line plays vs what will be much smaller guys 3. The secondary. They were a cause for concern during a few of the scrimmages I witnessed so I want to see them perform under the lights vs guys not named Marcus Jackson and JJ Hayes. 4. Jacody at LB. He's made the switch back to LB and Im anxious to see him in action 5. Offensive play calling. I want to see a…

http://www.mackbrown-texasfootball.com/sports/m-footbl/mtt/dorsey_ashton00.html I thought this was somewhat funny. Originally, Adren and his brother, Ashton, went to the two schools with the oldest rivalry in the country (UT & A&M).

Interim athletic director Jason Henderson asks that fans attending the Lamar University football opener Saturday follow certain precautions to avoid heat-related problems. "Start drinking water two and three days before the game," he said. "Wear sunscreen, hats. Anything to minimize any heat-related problems." Lamar pushed the start time for Saturday's game against Texas College to 7:30 p.m. to help alleviate heat-related problems. The east side bleacher seats face directly into the setting sun. Lamar will have three cooling stations outside the stadium, one in the Montagne Center parking lot, one in the lot outside the athletic complex and one near the "LU La…
