I was in the air flying back for most of the game but was able to keep up with it. Glad Lamar got to the playoffs, but at the same time how many of thought that with the schedule Lamar had to start the year that eight wins would be a good year. Hard to say what effect injuries played overall, but again that's something most teams have to deal with to some extent. There is still a lot of room for the program to improve. I think Lamar needs at least one big bruiser back that can always get at least one yard even if there is no blocking. The offensive line still needs to take another step up in quality. The same is probably true for the defense. You have to be able to make a first down or score on one yard to go and Lamar failed to do so multiple times in today's game and over the last two or three games. Hopefully McCown stays, recovers fully from whatever nagging injuries he has been playing with and can step up his passing game next year.
