Not because we beat Nichols....but because SELA is obviously better than I thought. I am back to thinking we may be the best of the bottom half (which is PROGRESS and something to build on!). Progress is fine with me for now. I hope we can beat the Demons and draw a better crowd for SFA. GO BIG RED!

If you are like me letting SELA put 56 points on the board has really taken the wind out of my sails. I don't know what to think now. I am looking forward to the game Saturday and I will be there but I expect dismal attendance. I hope the kids bounce back and smack Nichols but I am not making any predictions. Its up to them now. Hunting season is starting and the we have lost 3 in a row. Home field advantage will be minimal.

Last year after 7 games they were also 3-4. Here's a few comparisons to this year: Against 2 FBS teams they scored a total of 2 points and gave up 94, this year they scored 17 and gave up 86. Last year they started 0-2 in conference, losing to SELA and NW State, giving up a total of 61 points, and losing by 10 and 7 points, respectively. This year they've given up 40 total points and while scoring 27, against 2 of the better conference teams. We know how last season ended, losing 4 of 5. Can they change that and win 3 games for a 6-6 record? They should be able to win against Nicholls, Nw State and SFA, especially siince 2 of those are home games. Nicholls and SF…

Has Kueck simplified the offense for Berry? Or is it Kueck is over the hill and needs to move on. Berry has always seemed to move the ball till he gets to the redzone. Does the pressue get to him or is he handcuffed by a sad OC?? Lots of questions...your thoughts???

SAM destroys Northwestern St 44-10 UCA in control over SFA at the half UCA 21 SFA 10 But it really hasn't been that close. SFA's one touchdown was a trick play for a TD. Attaway has not looked sharp thus far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

Somebody mentioned this in another thread so I thought it would be nice to list the freshmen who are making an impact on this year's team. On the offensive line redshirt freshman Bret Treadway has started every game while true freshman John Craven is starting in place of the injured Kelso. At receiver redshirt freshman Michael Handy is starting and of course true freshman Kade Harrington is leading the team in rushing by a large margin. On defense true freshman Omar Tebo is starting at nose tackle and is 10th on the team in tackles with 20. Freshmen Koby Couron, Lloyd Julian and Colby Campbell are getting a lot of playing time.
