I am in complete disbelief that we screwed the pooch so bad with this idiot. He refused to recruit this area and we missed out on a guy that is going to HAUNT us for the next 4 years. What a douche. Colton Weisbrod is a beast that could have and SHOULD have played for Lamar. 39 points against a big from summer creek who is supposed to be a high d1 guy and then 41 points against OZEN.. Way to go knight burn that bridge again. Go back to indiana and live on your fathers legacy. You sure do know how to leave a program in worse shape than when you got there.

With spring practices right around the corner I thought it would be a good time to talk about the depth chart. On offense: Who will be the backup QB behind Berry, Mitchell or Dausin? Will Harris and/or Raleigh put up good numbers behind Harrington? With Gillam and Babin graduated, how will the OL look? All the receivers are back except Edwards. Which young ones will step up? Will KJ be moved to DB? Bigger changes on defense: Dickson and Murrill are gone, who will take their place? Will Okafor move to DE with Frost the backup at NT? With most of the starting LBs and DBs graduated, who will step up? Will Beard and KJ step up and hve big years? Which …

If Lamar hires Tic Price it'll be a money saver IMO so why not think outside the box and hire a successful coach from the high school ranks? Look at the places he's coached and had successful programs. He knows the area and wouldnt cost LU that much. Roll the dice and find the next up and coming guy since we've already tried everything else.

Girls loose 67-60 and guys loose by twenty. Typical guys game this year played about twenty five to thirty minutes. Lu was up by five with about four minutes left in the first half. Went into halftime down two. LU worked its way to about a 16 point deficit over the first ten minutes of the second half.

Anyone heard how spring practices are going? Anyone planning on going to the first scrimmage?

I am not very hopeful for this game. SFA seems to be for reelz. I think they have a legitimate shot to do well in the tournament. If we can play like we did in the second half against Sam though, we have a shot.

I was just thinking about the team that we will have for next year, and I think that it will be a solid team!!!!!! I think that we will have a great core of talent, with Hillard, Ross, Mitchell, and than if we can get some help in the late signing period, we will be a good team, but I think the key will be the recruits that we will land, and improving the second team to where there is no dropoff when they come in to give the starters some rest, and I think that is a huge part of what has hurt us this year!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
