Through five innings and the Cards got a run in the bottom of the fifth to tie the game with TSU at three.

The Juco Top 25 prospect and 1st Team All American from Arkansas Cassatot has committed to Lamar.

After four innings the game is tied at two. Lamar led two to nothing after three, but more self-inflicted wounds allow Nicholls to tie the game. Lamar changed pitchers, got two outs then a single a walk an error and a wild pitch before getting the last out of the inning.

Important series for the Cards to at least take two of three. Sam Houston is in second place in the Southwest Division one loss behind Lamar and playing SFA currently in last place. ACU is tied with Sam Houston and faces Tarleton. A sweep would be great. Game one kicks off at 7 PM according to the Lamar web site.

McLennan Community College sophomore PG Chris Pryor committed to Coach Brooks over the weekend. He averaged 12.7 ppg and 4.5 apg.
