In the game in which the winner plays the Lamar men tomorrow night, HBU is leading UIW 35-31 at halftime. In the earlier game SELa (#8 seed) beats McNeese (#9 seed).

Lamar has contracted Jordy Adams who entered the transfer portal this morning. Devon McCain has also left Austin Peay. Would be nice if they could both land at Lamar. Doesn't appear by the active recruiting by the current coaching staff, that they are worried about losing their jobs (Coach Price). The information regarding Jordyn Adams came from Matt Faye tweeter.

Lamar softball was scheduled to play a double header tomorrow at TSU in Houston, but games have been cancelled due a positive COVID test within the Tigers team.

Cards won the first game on Thursday.

Lamar WBB player Bebe Galloway named the SLC Player of the Week. Galloway has really improved the last 3 weeks and should be considered for Freshman of the Year.

No Lamar Men's player made one of the three All-Conference teams.

Cardinal softball got beat by Texas A&M 8-0, then lost to Tennessee 8-0. Both games were called in the 5th inning due to the 8 run rule.

MBB at UIW tonight. I believe with the expanded tournament we are assured a spot, but would be nice to get a road win to keep up the momentum. Looks like 3 conference teams will not make it, SFA, Central Arkansas, and Tx A&M-CC.

Cardinal baseball is scheduled to host U of H this evening at 6pm at Vincent-Beck.
