Okay, I may delete this thread, but I just need to vent. While it's common to play a "paycheck game" team to pad the stats, I feel like we're treating ourselves like a 2nd rate organization. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt on getting Game Notes out late (they are there... and in plenty of time for those who actually need them more than an hour before the game) based on trying to wait for NAU to get their information to us, but our own game notes are making us look like we're okay with mediocrity. Looks like the move to the WAC, giving us the chance, by about 2025, be ready to play FBS football might be paying off more quickly than we expected. With Texas and Oklahoma finally making the move that forces the Big XII to dissolve, it looks like the "mega-conferences" will start to form with the top 64 (give or take) schools being their own division and those left without a chair when the music stops will be in their own division. But, we're out ahead of that and can be in that conversation when conference musical chairs starts up and potentially get in with the AAC, MWC, Sun Belt, MAC, and CUSA when the new world starts taking root. Thoughts?

Does anyone know what day Football practice for the fall 2021 season begins?

Looks like they are requiring a minimum of 4 season tickets purchased before you can get a tailgating spot. We always teamed together to get 2 tailgating spots but only purchased a couple of season tickets with everyone else buying single game tickets in the past. I'm afraid this might cut some tailgaters out and kill the tailgating atmosphere but I might be wrong.

I just checked the football roster on the Athletic website. 60 kids total, 2 QB's. Looks like a lot of last years recruits are no longer on the roster and there has been a big flush out of kids. Anyone know what is going on?

Looking back on yet another disappointing baseball season I ask "What does it take to win at Lamar?" I don't know but I know who to ask. Gilligan 1353-894-7 (60%) EVERYONE ELSE 302-422-3 (41.5%) If you subtract the first year of David Perkins and Will Davis (mostly Gilligan's players) then EVERYONE ELSE 228-378-3 (37.5%)
