- The team leaves Thursday for Hawaii and after they arrive and get settled in they'll attend a luau and visit Pearl Harbor. As he mentioned in his press conference Coach Woodard said this is a business trip but they aren't going to deny the kids the opportunity to have a little fun on the island. He feels everyone should visit Pearl Harbor. I'm sure they can turn the visit into a team building exercise. -LU will be taking 60 players on the trip to Hawaii - Players that we asked about travelling with team due to health reasons: Payden McVey, Blake Chavis & Jordan Garrett all will be making the trip. Hawaii news is reporting a new "warrior" tradition starting with this game. Their cheerleaders, band, and boys are going to walk across the bridge to greet their fans. Sound familiar anyone? I will admit that seeing your son walk across that bridge is really a moment to be proud of and one that Lamar parents have known for some time. Go Big Red!

Ok, the reserved seating situation is getting absurd!! What is the point of paying a large sum of money for "Gold" seats when they are essentially general admission. If Lamar doesn't something I will NOT renew my 6 season tickets in the Gold section. I know "who cares". Well, I'm sure a lot of people besides me care. My tickets are not cheap. My tickets include mandatory Cardinal Club memberships. So, why should I keep paying that if I can get the cheapest available and just go sit where I want to? This is ridiculous. I saw a picture on the BE website of the game and it showed a #97 in a picture, big kid! There is not a #97 on the roster. Does anyone know who this is?

1. Whew, they needed that. You could feel the entire staff and team let out a huge exhale last night at Provost Umphrey Stadium. To FINALLY put it together at home in front of a huge crowd is something this program desperately needed. Here's to hoping the locals appreciated the effort and again give full support to this group for the remainder of the season. 2. The offense made huge strides from last week to this week. You could sense on the opening drive that this week was going to be different.
