Just heard from a equipment manager that hershal had a meeting with Woodard and signed his release letter. Others players have had meetings with Woodard as well.

Why so much negativity toward this guy? Of course we all have our opinions looking outside in. But the guy is a hell of an athlete no doubt and when he gets the ball it immediately becomes trouble for any defense. We just have to get it to him!! First, choose a quarterback and stick with it. How is he or any other receiver for that matter, suppose to have any chemistry with either quarterback? Maybe him and berry are not on the same page..think about it, he throws him a deep ball and he is not running. Throws a slant, and he is not looking. Then on the interception he cuts the route off.. This guy came from a top notch program, that won games! Lets not mistake this guys a…

Ok some of you guys who are smarter than me, how has a coaching change resulted in SELA starting out 3-0 in the SLC. Did they bring in a bunch of new players?

Ray Woodard and Lamar University have agreed upon a 2-year extension thru 2014. Woodard is 12-17 at Lamar after the win over McMurry.

Let's review Lamar's offense thus far. Only counting D1 games (excluding PVAMU too): Spring game - no score until OT ULL - no TDs or FGs Hawaii - no TDs or FGs SELA- 2 TDs (2nd and 3rd quarters) NW State - 2 TDs, 1 FG (all in 2nd half) UCA - 2 TDs (all in 2nd half) SHSU - no TDs (kickoff return doesn't count) So in 6 games against decent to good opponents, Lamar's offense has only scored 1 TD in the first half!!! I hate to say it but shouldn't that get someone fired?

Any news on the redshirts. I know there are a few freshman OL redshirting this year. Treadway, Alfonso, and a few others. Will they be playing at all next season?

LU lost a great alumni and letterman this week as Stan Pierce passed away. Stan was a great linebacker, friend, and teammate. RIP Bear!!

First was Ray Ray planning on playing Sims more than he led us to believe when he said he just wanted to get him 100 yds then another 100 yd rusher. His latest statement say he was expecting a big half out of Orange Sims. Sims must be told to dress in team gear which is Red not orange, lack of discipline on a coaching staff in making players wear what we taxpayers buy. If not we would look like a rainbow if we let everyone wear what they want. When does his plea bargain come up again. Glad his knee is not hurt but please get him with the program!!

My girlfriend and I will be partying at homecoming. Everyone is welcome to stop by our tailgate for a drink. Also, I have to say, I am glad we are playing McMurry State for homecoming.
