Has anybody seen any highlights of this guy, does he look like he can compete for the top spot next year? I figure its only fair to get him in the discussion since we talk about these other guys.

Im out of pocket tonight and likely for the first couple next week so anyone that attends post updates, pics etc for us. I'll be forwarding twitter feed from others that are there on our twitter page as well. Im interested to see if the offense improved since I went earlier this week and which players have the best practices.

Hey Mike, there are a few of us coming in for the Spring game. OK, new to this. Something about a crawfish boil, a draft and game...Can you post some kind of format with times and what it is exacty that they do so we can schedule not to miss anything. its been confirmed by lamarcardinals.com that QB Harrison Tatum and TE Caleb Shelly have decided to quit playing football and have left the team.

For those of you who have gone to the spring practices, can anyon tell if the guys, especially the linemen look a little bigger and stronger? Just curious to see how our strength & conditioning program was going.

This was an intense practice and most of it due to new OL/ST coach Dennis McKnight. You could hear the mans voice from anywhere in the stadium. There was a large focus on special teams drills and I fully expect the team to be dramatically improved in that area next season. Coach Woodard was very relaxed and in a great mood during the practice. I feel he's very comfortable with his new staff and lets them all coach. He spent his time mingling around all the areas helping and encouraging, even throwing passes during wide receiver drills with Coach Barbay. Christopher Dabe talked to Woodard and this is what he tweeted: All Lamar spring practices will be open to public. First practices are 4 p.m. Tuesday, 7 Wednesday, 4 Friday and 10 a.m. Saturday. Woodard said Lamar has two offensive tackle spots to fill. One graduated and the other, Anthony Oden, is suspended. Doug Prewitt will no longer play football for Lamar. Medical issues have sidelined him from the game. He will continue to be a part of the team as a manager.
