the 6-2 310lb transfer from Tyler JC arrived today on campus. No doubt Coach McKnight and Co are happy to get him here. He should be immediate help on the offensive line.

I have just noticed such a broad point of view on the Hershel Sims and Anthony Oden threads that I wanted to start a poll to get a count.

The Lamar Athletics website has updated the 2012 roster with all the freshmen and transfers. Running back Darrell Harris from Waco is on the roster but Darryl Waters isn't. Hopefully Waters doesn't have to sit this year out. 6'3, 300 lb DL Marcus Washington is another newcomer I haven't heard much about. He's a sophomore transfer from Ft. Scott CC.
