Both losses under Tic have been under double digits. PK only had 3 that close out of his 12 losses. Tic has also been seen out at local high school games, I assume trying to recruit.

Heard he was having a private workout today at Lamar for the St. Louis Rams...anyone else heard this? I always thought he may be a little undersized but I guess he impressed enough at the Pro Day that they wanted more of a look Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

If you remember after the college season ended players from Northwester University filed suit claiming they were employees of the university and thus eligible to unionize. This could be seen as a landmark decision in college athletics and could open the door for collegiate athletes to receive pay compensation for playing their sport for their school. Right now this only applies to private universities like Northwestern. State run schools have a different path that would need to be taken. So did we just find out what the best possible seed the SLC can ever hope to get is! Nice season SFA. Just hypothetically: If SFA wins a game or even two in the NCAA and duplicates a 28+ win season next year, do they get a higher seed?

All of the talk about if Tic should be given the job or not and that Lamar should do a real coaching search. Made me want to look at our last list of candidates. Congrats to Coach Harmony and the Lady Cards on an amazing season. At the beginning of the season, I would have not picked this team to finish above a third or fourth seed, but Coach Harmony and her staff have done an amazing job with these girls and here they are the number one seed in the Southland Tournament. I bought my tickets today and will be in Katy to see them on Saturday and hopefully Sunday.

We can talk about PK until we're blue in the face. I think we need to move forward. Who, in your opinion would you like to see as head coach? Maybe look down the road at LSC-PA; I think he deserves a good look. I would favor an assistant at a Big 12 or SEC school. Or maybe Bruce Pearl former coach at Tennessee. He has a good personality and i think he can be a good coach for Lamar. Thoughts? Opinions?

Per Bob West silly article in the Little Man Newspaper down in Port Arthur, PK's buyout was $400K. Now we all know that LU cannot afford to pay that out, and pay a new coach at the same time. So where did the $$ come from?

Just wondering if anyone else has noticed that there is not a Houston Baptist banner hanging in the Montagne Center. All other SLC schools are represented, but no HBU.
