Before the start of the 2019 season, Roschon Johnson, UT signee, was sitting at #3 on the QB depth chart. His chances of seeing the field were slim to none. He wanted a chance to play and volunteered to back up the RB room because the RB's were nursing several injuries. For the game vs La Tech, he slid into the #3 spot behind Keaontay Ingram and all everything freshman Jordan Whittington. Again, his chances of seeing the field were slim to none. 6:00 PM start time. Big game for both the rest of the season and overall for the program during the Schultz era. LU has to step up and win against programs that have traditionally been below them in the conference race. LU can't overlook anyone.

weird stuff going on...Nichols total beatdown of UCA going on...McNeese beating Sela…..sfa hanging with sam.….. I knew Sela had no defense, cuz they couldn't stop us...but didn't think McNeese had any offense.

-worse loss since we brought back football -Schultz can be out coached by the opponents water boy -offensive scheme is some where between pop warner and jr. high -offensive line got owned -defense, no pressure on qb, no wrapping up -there’s a whole, bigass field out there....we attack it 2 yards at a time. the only player on that field tonight deserving of a scholly was the kicker, and I think he’s a walk on Schultz is creating Juco U. Can’t build a program that way. Be decent every other year, maybe. I didn’t like the hiring of Schultz, especially after realizing he was more franchione than Patterson. I’da fired him at halftime
